Our hand-built private cabins are open year-round and cater to every comfort and need. Hot Springs Treehouse Cabins are a popular romantic getaway for those looking for a clean, serene, and private vacation, just 45 minutes from Asheville and the Biltmore Estate. We have 4 cabins about 70-80 feet apart and some of them accept well-behaved pets and their people.
Treehouse rentals are located on 13 unspoiled acres bordering Pisgah National Forest and Spring Creek. We are a short 5-minute drive above the historic town of Hot Springs, NC on what we like to refer to as "The Magic Mountain". How to tell if you need a vacation and if our Treehouse Cabins are the right fit for you:
A) You need to hear the sounds of the creek and waterfall while you rest and relax in peace and tranquility.
B) You want to make memories that will last a lifetime with your loved ones (Read about this in my blog)
C) You want/need to turn off your mind and turn on your body by going, fishing, rafting, hiking, biking, horseback riding, and playing hard in the great outdoors!
D) You want/need to disconnect so you can reconnect with ALL the things that are important to you.
E) You want/need to get your creative juices flowing so you can paint, write, dance or whatever blows wind up your skirt ; )
Many of our guests contact us the night before their scheduled departure and ask to extend their stay. We can't think of a greater endorsement or compliment. It's true the cabins are comfortable and cozy and that's because we are guests here too. As a family-owned and managed rental, you'll find the little things that we like to have while on vacation made available to our guests - like a French press and coffee grinder. Plus, there is so much to do (and not do)!!
All 4 of our cabins come equipped with brand new (January 2022) fiber-optic, high-speed internet (because we work remotely and have kids), comfortable new mattresses and linens, gas grills, well-maintained and cleaned hot tubs, cozy indoor gas fireplaces, Smart TVs, and a variety of board games.
Activities
Do as much or as little as you want while visiting. Everything is right outside your front door. Across the road is the historic Odd Fellows Cemetary, which you can explore. Enjoy our 24x24 Serenity platform in the forest for your morning stretches, creative inspiration or lunch spot. Hike down our trail to find a private swimming hole and sun yourself by the water on our large ancient river rocks, hang out in the shade of our creek-side Gratitude Gazebo, or consider a bigger excursion to Max Patch or a rafting trip down the French Broad River! Visit Hot Springs very own brewery Pig Pillow for live music, food, and beer, and discover the deep and rich artistry of WNC craftspeople at the Artisun Gallery and Coffee Shop. We have created an extensive guidebook for our guests that provides everything you'd want to know about how to operate the cabins, as well as what to do in and around Hot Springs and Madison County. Our closest neighbor, handyman and volunteer firefighter does personalized guided hikes and fitness classes.
We accept well behaved doggies and their humans.

We love our furry family and know you do too and so in January 2020 we started accepting dogs on a limited basis in Cabins 2, 3 & 4 only. Please review our Pet Addendum to see if your dog fits our criteria as a good pet guest.
